Daniele is a safeguarding expert who provides consultancy advice to large organizations across regulated and unregulated sectors globally, with a specific focus on safeguarding activities in the Asia/Oceania region. His extensive experience working with at-risk children and families includes managing the delivery of support services in state government and NGOs, spanning the service support continuum.
Daniele has a wealth of experience in senior management, program delivery, policy development, and emergency services. He has significant safeguarding experience within organizations and faith communities, which he leverages to help organizations meet their safeguarding obligations and address their legislative, regulatory, and institutional requirements.
Previously, Daniele served as the National Director of Safeguarding and Improvement for the Catholic Church in Australia, where he led the development and implementation of the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards in response to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse recommendations.
Currently, Daniele provides expert consultancy for the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors, overseeing the Commission’s work across the Asia and Oceania region.

Kate has been working in safeguarding for over 20 years. Initially commencing as a special education teacher for at-risk youth, she has moved her focus to supporting organisations manage risk and compliance in this field.
Kate has extensive knowledge and understanding of federal and state safeguarding legislation as well as regulatory and industry obligations and best practice. She is passionate and committed to assisting organisations in implementing recommendations from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and the ongoing mission to keep all children and adults at risk safe.

Carl is a published writer and researcher. His major research interests are transpersonal psychology and cultural psychology, with a focus on Philippine Indigenous psychology.
Carl completed his master’s degree in counseling psychology in Ateneo de Manila University.
He has provided brief psychological services as a volunteer responder, and he has conducted trainings on gender sensitivity, building boundaries, and responding to victims of gender-based violence.
He is currently a senior lecturer in the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City.
